Quintessential Brands is launching a flavored version of its Dubliner brand of Irish whiskey in Australia this summer.

Flavored with chilli and cinnamon, Dubliner Fiery Irish is the second flavor in the brand’s range, alongside Dubliner Whiskey & Honeycomb. The Australian launch will be followed by international rollouts in markets including the US, UK and select EU countries throughout 2022. A launch in the Global Travel Retail channel is also planned.

“Its lower ABV makes it a more accessible taste for those new to whisky,” said Bronagh Hunt, the brand’s global marketing director. “As a brand that aims to broaden the appeal of Irish whiskey and bring something new to the category, we believe we have achieved the goal with Dubliner Fiery Irish.”

In 2019, British company Quintessential launched the Dubliner’s Whiskey Beer Cask series. Each of the three expressions has been aged in a cask previously used by an Irish brewer.
