Ian Logan, Senior Manager of Whiskey & Hospitality at Duncan Taylor Scotch Whiskey Ltd, explains why Black Bull will be his go-to party drink:

“So much has changed for all of us over the past 18 months as we’ve adjusted to this new world, it’s good to have things that don’t change like a good dram.

“Along with the award winning 12 year old Black Bull I think I found it. Bottled at 50%, it packs bags of flavor and is blended using world famous single malts from Speyside and Highlands. rich intensity that can only be found by aging carefully in large ex-sherry casks.

“Created in 1864 by George Willsher in his Dundee store, he wanted to create a blended whiskey that would stand out from the crowd. This is a philosophy still maintained today by the Duncan Taylor Scotch Whiskey Ltd team at Huntly.

“Sip this whiskey however you want, knowing that this is a crisp 12 year old Black Bull that is suitable for any occasion.

“I could be lyrical all day long about this drink, but there’s a glow of amber liquid out of the corner of my eye, it’s time to grab my drink…”
